Biography
Over the past 15 years, Deborah Hamilton has held marketing management positions for several technology companies, and has served as a marketing and public relations consultant to businesses in diverse industries. Deborah is the president of MediaMonde, Inc., a Colorado-based communications and public relations firm established in 2002. She is also a children’s book author and the owner of Dreams Due Media Group, Inc., founded in 2006.
Drawing upon her extensive background in strategic marketing, communications, public relations and content development, Deborah offers clients valuable strategic counsel and communications expertise. She understands how to get clients’ messages heard by customers, prospects, journalists, analysts, investors, and others who can influence their target audiences. Deborah has written content across all marketing media, and she continues to hone her writing craft on a daily basis through the development of content for advertisements, sales literature, web sites, press releases, articles, direct mail, newsletters, white papers, social media, and more.
A customer-centric entrepreneur, Deborah continues to service the marketing, public relations and copywriting needs of her various MediaMonde clients with a personal level of attention often lost in large advertising agencies and public relations firms. Deborah also freelance writes parenting articles, with a focus on foster care and adoption issues, and oftentimes bases her articles on her firsthand experiences. She is also working on a new nonfiction book offering insight and inspiration into the world of foster care and adoption through her family’s eyes, and noting many personal anecdotes from their journey.
Deborah is a member of the National Foster Parent Association, the Colorado State Foster Parent Association, the North American Council on Adoptable Children and the Colorado Coalition of Adoptive Families. She is also an advisory board member for the Denver Health Connections for Kids Clinic, a grant-based effort that enables the Denver Health and Hospital Authority to provide primary care health services to Denver County foster children in cooperation with the Denver Department of Human Services and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Originally from north suburban Chicago, Deborah and her husband Edward have called Colorado home for the past ten years. They are the proud parents of two children adopted through the foster care system: Joanna, adopted in 2005 at age five, and Isaiah, adopted in 2008 at age one. Deborah and Edward have also been traditional foster parents to several infants and toddlers.
